Wild ride right now in the USVI I'd imagine. BVI have a chance to regroup while in the eye. Looks like the outer eyewall is coming close to PR now. Cycloneye hold on to your hat and stay safe.....MGC

Wikipedia suggests there are two Buck Islands in the area. One near St. Thomas and one near St. Croix. Not clear which one is being referenced

Most likely St Thomas, St Croix is further south and they are not in the inner eyewall.

She seems so calm. Noticed that about a lot of the live feeds. Those island people are way more chill than us.

Thanks for sharing! Poor shed :( Just think of the damage Irma would cause to a non-secured mobile home and surroundings...

Bailey's General Store on Sanibel Island has propane...I just tanked up...

The people there are old Floridians and the older man who filled my tank told me "most of us are staying"...

Irma already ingesting dry air from the flow over Puerto Rico, I would expect the pressure to keep rising. Next, Hispaniola will certainly have a negative effect, even without direct contact.

Puerto Rico is just too small of an island to make an impact. In fact latest recon indicates pressure is dropping rapidly, down to 913mb extrap.
