I'm not sure. Did they ever change it back to "Invest" when they downgraded it? I don't think so.

It stayed as NONAME at NRL even as it was downgraded.

Exactly, all their archive images for ex-TD 10 say NONAME.

They will not upgrade something that is about ready to be sheared to its knees again. It is now out running its upper high. Thats why the convection is pushing to the northeast. Maybe in 48 hours it mgiht finally make it.

If TD 10 looked looked on Sunday morning as it did this morning, it probably wouldn't have been downgraded.

Wow the convection is reforming over the center. Its also trying to wrap. Maybe I'm dead wrong about this tropical system. But it better slow down to let its upper high keep up with it.

hey if it makes u feel any better I was dead wrong about this system as well. Deep in my mind I was saying this thing will die a painfull death but it didnt.

XTD10 is only moving 5 to 10 mph,but if it does develop as I posted in another thread will it head towards Florida or take the Irene path.

In that case it can take the Irene path cause have you seen how warm/hot the water temps are around the are of the FL straits? They are in the upper 80's to close to 90.
