Gulf of Mexico Tropical Summary - GUTS IN on August 17, 2005

<img src="http://www.diamondheadweather.com/guts20050817.jpg">

The gulf continues to be rather quiet, with an upper level low continuing to
provide rain along the northern gulf coast.

I do not expect tropical cyclone development in the GOM in the next 48-72 hours.

Whoops.

Well, it's going to go eat a chalupa anyway.

Amazing how quiet the gulf has been the last month or so - Dennis, Emily, and NOTHING. Two majors and now nothing.
