Well i live about 20 mins South of Boston in Middleboro. The past few winters have been pretty bad. Last year we saw a record breaking snow over 100 inches. Something like 113 in worcester. and 107 somewhere on the cape i believe. And yes it does get Very cold sometimes. So don't be surpised if High temps barely make it over 0 at some point in Jan and Feb. 2 Years ago we had Wind Chills that were approaching -50 in the morning. All the schools were closed for a "Cold Day". Most of the towns are boston are pretty nice. Not really close to boston though unless you want to be really cramped in. But about 20 mins to 30 mins outta the city you get into some nice towns. And during the summer if youre missing florida you can go to the South facing beachs of Cape Cod. The water there is usually very warm. 70s in the summer. My fav beach is West Dennis. Well i hope that helped!

I live about 5 mils Ne of downtown Boston in a town called Winthrop. Last winter was pretty bad. usually right at the coast is not that bad as the inland areas but it also can get very cold with the east wind. It can have its good winters and bad winters. Daisy

Omigosh. When I mention that my family moved to Maryland from
Winthrop, MA nobody has a clue. My kids miss Winthrop a lot. I admit I
miss it myself. As immature as this sounds we miss Christmas eve in
Winthrop. One of my kids is in high school and misses Santa on the fire truck. LOL!! Wishing Kelly's would come to Maryland. LOL!! I hope you all don't have as bad a winter this year as you did last year. I'll never forget the storm that washed up all the crabs and starfish onto the street. Thank goodness we parked are car at the high school. Our street was a river.

We lived next to Shirley Hardware. Busy corner. Especailly since the new restaurant opened up. Great food there. I remember the April fools blizzard. I watched the tow trucks help tow eachother out. That was a little funny.

That is funny. My son calls it the egg store. Yep, almost every Saturday we would have to go there for breakfast. I've been back a couple of times
to visit. Like I said before sometimes I miss it because of all the friends
we left behind. Here you have to drive to get anywhere, where as there you can walk to get where you need to go. Also down here if it snows a couple of inches schools close down. I think it is hilarious.
