Floater over Ex TD10

I do not know if this has been posted yet but they moved a floater over TD 10.

Yes, I noticed that as well. One of the floaters is now taking coverage on EX-TD 10. I think they choose the more significant features to cover on the two floaters, but I'm not positive. How do they choose what tropical weather systems to cover on the floaters?

It is not TD 10 by the way... just for clarification. It is the remnants of TD 10.

Essentially it's the forecaster's choice. They would normally keep it over the largest threat to land. That why when 10L was active, the floater was positioned over Fernanda instead since she posed the greatest threat to land (Hawai'i) while 10L still had some more time to go.
