Southerngale...you raise some excellent points!
I am not for sure the sources that my fellow student used, but if I were guessing I would assume he used some sort of research already published from some group. If that is the case, then you would have to closely look to see what group was that published the information.
I enjoy Fox News Channel a lot, but even the network's owner Rupert Murdoch has said that they are conservative. Is this a bad thing? I THINK NOT!
Especially with the majority of networks being left wing, there SHOULD be a conservative alternative for Americans.
Which reporters do you trust? That is another question that could be raised?
Jeanne Meserve, Andrea Mitchell, Jim Mchzaleski (I can never spell his name right), Sheppard Smith, and Linda Vester come to my mind.

Thanks so much! OH LOOK, MSNBC HAS 100% of the vote...lol!
I am sure that will change, but change is sometimes a good thing!

Amy Kellogg, Major Barrett, Lauren Green, Katherine Herridge (FoxNews), Christine Amanpour (MSNBC), and Steve Harrigan, whoever he is working for lately.

Oh, thanks wx...didn't mean to rag on your friend's research but I certainly didn't believe it was correct. I leave my tv on news enough around here that I can do my own research!
As far as the three major networks evening news, I would have to choose Tom Brokaw. He is definitely the best of the three.
Are you sure that Rupert Murdoch said his network was conservative and not that he was conservative? I find that hard to believe since he thrives on the "Fair and Balanced" stance. I've never seen a station try so hard to give both sides of an issue.
