Gulf of Mexico Tropical Summary - GUTS IN on August 19,2005
<img src="http://www.diamondheadweather.com/guts20050819.jpg">
The upper lever low that was over the Gulf moved inland over Texas, as
a ridge is building in. This ridge will bring drier air and a heat wave to
most of the southeast. Heat indicies will be 110 or better in many areas
today in the south - stay cool and drink plenty of fluids.
I do not expect tropical cyclone development in the GOM in the next 72-96 hours.
