Pretty dry again in SE Florida

#1 Postby boca » Fri Aug 19, 2005 11:35 am

I'm hoping that the poor excuse of a system X TD10 rolls this way and gives us a couple of days of rain,we can use it.No wind and no rain this time of year is brutal.

I remember how just several weeks ago I was getting exhausted of all the rain we were having. It was the same old pattern: PM thunderstorms, PM thunderstorms and more PM thunderstorms.

It is drier now probably because the Bermuda High has strengthened. However, I still expect EX-TD 10 to make a gradual northward curve, although it will be a later curve than what I earlier anticipated. I expect the gradual curve away from Florida to begin once it reaches the Bahamas.

I think this dry weather is nice break from the torrential downpours and endless thunder and lightning we have earlier. However, it is way too hot right now, so some rain would sure be nice!

It is BEYOND hot here. I end up dripping in sweat just walking the 50 feet to my car. It is so hot and humid (but no rain) its hard to be outside at all.

Screw it, let the heat be on. I hate it when it rains. It rained too much this summer. Hope it stays dry and hot.
