Its simple. His number predictions will go up if we have more storms and they will go down if we have less. :lol:

By the way no one could or did predict that the SAL would become such a player. I love the fact that as much as we think we have a good grip on predicting the weather in general and even get cocky about it (see the posts of some certain young mets often on this board) we (mankind) can be made to look pretty foolish sometimes by mother nature. Who knows what the future holds. We do know a lot, I'm not saying that and technology has not brought us far, but even Dr. Grey didn't mention the possiblity of this SAL and how it would affect this season. The bottom line: The more we know, the more we realize we don't know.

Extremely well said. We can predict or guestimate, but mother nature isn't instantaneously predictable. The Lord has the last word on earth and nature, not us.
