In all likelyhood, the Atlantic ridging wont adhere to what the models are depicting in 7 days, when they start to send this wave to the north.

They really flip flop a lot with regards to position and strength.

But...lets wait until we have a legitimate Tropical STORM before getting all bugeyed and crazy.

Well study hard and succeed. I look forward to hearing from your professional forecast expertise in the years to come. Any plans for a phD or just with a Masters for now, pending all the expenses?

my question as well. I feel pretty darn sure that tomorrow if this convection stays strong we could very well have one at that time. Id be surprised not to see any at that time.

I think it would be prudent to wait for it to remain offshore another 24 hrs to verfiy that it won't go "poof" like so many waves have done ahead of it. If it's still there tomorrow and isn't weakening, then I think an invest will be issued.

yeah you have a point... it hasnt been over water that long yet and we cant... or more precisely shouldnt assume anything of this wave for another 24 hours
