It is SOOO hot here, and it's still usually a winter weather pattern, September we usually get a lot of our rain...But patterns are already becoming "summer'y"... This is normally the temperature of one of our hottest summer days.. And only 23% humidity *breaths*

Right now, 65°, headed for 87° and sunny skies today. Tomorrow afternoon or evening into Thursday, things may get a little dicey.

It has been just plain hot! Sunny, with temps in the 90's. Very sticky and humid. We did not even get any rain since Katrina hit nearly 2 weeks ago! And the forecast does not have rain for the rest of the week!

Here currently 77F degrees under an overcast sky...Hurricane Ophelia messing around with the NC coast...and up to a half inch of rain forecast here in Raleigh...could use the rain...so up to a half inch is better than no rain at all.

Updated: 9:30 am EDT on September 14, 2005

Today:

Mostly cloudy. Rain becoming likely. Rain may be heavy at times. Breezy with highs near 80. Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.

Tonight:

Cloudy. Rain likely with a thunderstorm possible in the evening. Then a chance of rain after midnight. Windy with lows in the lower 70s. North winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.

OVEN! Need anymore explanations?

High usually around 105*; Heat Index around 115-120* lows MAYBE hit 90*. Dew Point... heres the kicker.... 65-70* (sometimes over 70) ... winds are NW... hot breeze! We commonly have high wind warnings for winds over 40kt.

It basically feels like you are sticking your head in an oven!

It's hot as usual, but to be honest hasn't felt so bad the past 3 days or so. Humity must be down because I dont immediatley start to sweat when I go outside, so even though its in the mid 90's it doesn't feel the typical 90's here in Orlando. Currently it is 89 at 7 in the evening and feels great! There has been no rain and none in the immediate forcast.
