This is gonna be either an awesome storm, or one of those incredibly anti-climatic storms... Like Irene.

It seems like we're all pretty much in agreement that development with this thing is very likely. I guess the next question is, does it make it across to the Islands or not? My guess is that it will miss the Islands, but that's just a guess based on most similar looking systems I can remember being that far east and so well organized. I know some have posited reasons why it might not turn out so soon. We'll see. A miss for the Islands does not necessarily mean a miss for the continental U.S. though.

Looking at 98L this mornig, I think this will likely be TD12 :)
