What's there to be nervous about? After going through a cat2 and a cat 3 within three weeks of each other last year, I am fully prepared. All I need is a few hours to get the shutters up and the yard picked up and I'm ready. Got all of my supplies months ago.

in the NHC TWO, they mention S. Florida should monitor the progress of this system...that's no surprise to me but here we go.... :eek:

Of course. I'm glad my door was shut since I busted out laughing when I read it. (Un)fortunately, I wasn't kidding but decided it might be inappropriate decorum to express the feelings that I don't get nervous but more excited at the prospect of a medium-strong hit. I probably speak for a lot of people who lurk in the background not wanting to hear the same old, "had you been hit by a Cat 5...." thing.

all I know is my cat has refused to leave the house for 2 days now - just sits and looks at the door. Did the same last year before we got hit with Frances and Jeanne. I hate it cause he then uses his box! lol and I have to clean it out! :eek:

Pay attention to animals behavior. They have a much better sense for these things than do we humans do. I also noticed it last year before F and J.
