Andrew missed us by a ton. Betsy was closer but still missed us to the west. Just off the top of my head, Camille missed, Georges missed, Ivan missed, Elena missed, Frederic missed. Always close, never a hit, we're immune.

Okay, well, since you are complaining, come move closer to the coast like Houma, and come have your fun. Because just like skysummit said, Terrebonne Parish was no picnic with Andrew. I rode out Andrew in Terrebonne Parish only about 25 miles from the eye and it was pretty intense. And I was not born for Betsy, but I know things were not pretty down there the day after.
