Very close to a tropical storm...possible minimal hurricane for So. Fla. in 48 hours; however, the forecast calls for a 60kt tropical storm. Intensity forecast after 48 hours is especially uncertain, but the track forecast is along forecast guidance.

he posted the disclaimer, was VERY detailed I might add, and his forecast seems to be very plausible.
anyways, I'm looking at this thing, and while it's not terribly organized or anything, it's really poppin' up some good convection. if the MLC and LLC can get aligned before too long, it wouldn't surprise me if it would reach hurricane strength before reaching the southeast Florida coast. the shear's gotta let up a bit too, but this thing is definitely worth watching.
