Hi Laptop crashed bigtime.. Were still planning on the show tonight as he will probably call in..

My computer crashed. All my songs....hurricane images...recordings.....videos...GONE! My computer *MIGHT* still be fixable...but it is currently not working. It broke at 2am, early Tuesday morning.

Thankfully, my dad's friend Deb had three computers, and gave me this laptop for as long as I need until my computer is fixed or replaced. She should be blessed by the lord above for that...given that without a computer I would have been setback to the "Hurricane Lili" days tracking a big hurricane "YES, KATRINA" without a computer.

Another saving grace, anything vital was uploaded to sites (EVEN SOME OF MY FAVORITE PICS ARE ON PHOTOBUCKET SITE SAVED) so, all I really needed was to download a few programs. Not sure if I can do videos yet...still getting set up, however I will be able to be here for shows on Radio NHCWX...which is great news.

By the way..It is nice to know people care. My Katrina thoughts will come out later. Thanks everyone!

That sucks Mike, Hope you get your puter fixed. Any idea what happened you may be able to do a system restore to a date before the problem occurred. :wink:

mike im so glad your back!! we need you now!!! in florida and the northern gulf coast! that is some real bad timing with the crash..sorry to hear that man

Mike, if you need any help or advice concerning restore or recovery shoot me an email...

I'm a Senior Systems Computer Engineer for a Defense Contractor. - i.e. IT Type....

I do have some free-ware file recovery tools as well....

We live in Navarre, and we're under the gun right now, your videos are always so informative for my wife and I. Anything I can do to help just let me know....
