Does anyone use the NOAA model site?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Does anyone use the NOAA model site?

#1 Postby Steve » Wed Aug 24, 2005 12:57 pm

http://www.srh.noaa.gov/tbw/models/modelsmain.htm

Seems as though they update faster than the PSU/FSU sites with the NOGAPS and the UKMET. The links go everywhere from NCEP to U of WY, but I didn't have this one bookmarked and figured I'd share if anyone else didn't have it either.

(not to use this thread for a cheap plug on model outputs, but 12z NOGAPS also likes that NWFL 2nd landfall)
