Did they crash or something? 00010 isn't normal?

appears to have landed in Key West. No crash, at least I hope :)

I don't know but, maybe they are there just trying to save money by switching thier car insurance by switching to Geico? :?: :roll: :wink:

computer problems.

KATRINA IS EXPECTED TO BECOME A HURRICANE ON THURSDAY BEFORE
REACHING THE SOUTHEAST FLORIDA EAST COAST. THE RECONNAISSANCE
AIRCRAFT THAT WAS ENROUTE TO KATRINA HAS HAD TO ABORT DUE TO
COMPUTER PROBLEMS.

I just woke up and the first thing I did was read the 8 AM advisory, and I thought, what in the world, it's still at 50 mph? I saw a satellite, and it appeared very well-organized to me.

I'm willing to bet it's probably stronger than 50 mph right now; the NHC is just playing the intensity safe.

Steve Lyons just said the same thing on TWC. He thinks it is stronger than 50mph. Starting to build an eye wall on NWS radar.

unless Katrina slows down some (as she is forecasted to do) she is going to run out of room. Everybody is calling for an overnight landfall, but it looks as if it keeps its current speed it will make landfall this afternoon

worst place for this storm to slow down, right over the gulf stream. IF the storm does slow i think we will see a mid range cat 1-low cat-2at landfall. If it continues at its present rate of speed i think we see a 60-80 mph storm
