Opal storm

I just saw the Miami radar on TWC and I thought I saw somewhat of a dip towards the south.

I'm also seeing what looks to be an eye further south than the radar reveals. Closer to Miami - but, I'm not positive...

It has been drifting wsw for the past couple hours. Notice how the eye is now going to head into dade county...

I have been suggesting this the past few days, since many models showed a southerly moment to start occuring this afternoon.

Many people even into coral gables will be recieving hurricane force winds.
Check the radar based velocities if you disagree. (I know these are not very precise, but they are better than anything else we have.)
