So why no tornadic threat?

No tornado watches.....sorry if its been covered..but seems unusual....what conditions are leading to this?

Dry air to the north of the center pushing against the convection, and the strongest convection is in areas unfavorable for tornadic development.

storms seem to fight the same "non-ideal" situations throughout their lifespan....it will be interesting to see if the northern semi develops today and the dry air is evacuated.
