Thanks Tom, so far the storm seems to be making an easternly path, just to the right of us, so it looks like, unless something unusual pops up, that we will be just fine here in my part of Shreveport...When you are studying the maps here, our house is very near the I-49 and I-20 corridor,, anything along I-49 will be right here at our house in Shreveport...hope that landmark helps... :) Praise God it looks like we'll be spared tonight!

You're welcome, Shannon. :)

I am using my Microsoft Expeda Street & Maps that came with my computer. It is a fun program to track even tropical systems. I like plotting the distances indicating on Severe Weather Statement from National Weather Service offices on it. :D

I see where I-49 and I-20 meet, a lot of streets in "block form" off those two major interstates. :)

No tornado warnings currently, but STS warning until midnight.
The cloud tops on the cell east of town is 50,000 ft.
Mean looking stuff. Stay safe furry, and get some rest. You've had a pretty rough day!

Well, good morning! Sleep came quickly lastnight, but I was woken up around 5:41 am with another severe thunderstorm...another electrical show and a ton of rain...in my sleep, I reached for the remote control, pushed the TV button and saw that all the warning areas were just yellow, and I fell back asleep. :) I hope we'll have a quiet night tonight, as we have a birthday party to go to, and it usually runs late with this crowd...plus I won't leave the kids home with impending storms! :)

Iso...thanks for that report...I must have slept through that one...

Toalba...good to see you!

You're welcome, Shannon. Sorry if I left quickly. I am glad I could spend some time as the line moved toward you. I would be online for quite a few hours if I don't take a bit of a break during the evening.
