Disturbing West Trend

for SE LA. The past couple of hours show a more west trend than wnw. May be just a wopple, but will make a difference in the long run.

I'm fairly sure it's a wobble. But you're right. It will make a difference.

It's more than a wobble. She has been doing it since 10PM. 10PM location 25N 86.2 W. 1AM position 25.1N 86.8 W. I think it will make a big difference if it happens again later today or more this morning

Local Met just Mentioned this...said the Trough has Yet to Effect the Storm But should by Noon sunday...

I noticed the coordinates too.

Yet, the NHC didn't mention it.

Geeze...

I'm still watching at my locale, just in case.

If this thing does not start making a nw turn soon....We might see warnings shifted further west.

That trough looks really weak right now. With Katrina being so strong, who knows what will happen. Maybe more west than expected?

Even a small shift in track to the west would put the brunt of the storm on NOLA.

that trof is really weak right now....just look at the clouds in Tn and arkansas...they are not moving se.....i see a due west track with maybe a wnw wobble...

hmmm thats a big jump..... almost went back to a west movement. :coaster: Now it's wait and see... wait and see!

Im truly concerned...with the power of Katrina and the trough appearing to be weaker than expected...we might have another Gilbert..which was predicted to turn north/ but never did.

well, you have to remember....there was almost 2 hours or so of no sat data....it just might be a jog wnw on the last frame...lets get somemore pics first
