Maybe, I mean really though Cat 4 or Cat 5....wherever this hits its going to devastate....

its 150MPH so not yet a cat 5 however the development continues and if it does continue it IMO it will be a cat 5 no later then 11am!

Not really, when the pressure falls fast it takes time for the winds to catch up. In addition, Katrina is a larger than average size hurricane so the pressure gradient in the interior won't be quite as tight.

I will go on record right now and say that this thing will get to 165 mph by tomorrow afternoon.

I agree.....Katrina is now poised to become a Cat 5.

She has also "gone annular"....as her symmetry is specatular...
