oh my god...
a 20 mb pressure drop in just a few hours?
This is unbelievable. If Katrina holds her current wind speed, pressure, and path all the way through landfall, we are looking at history in the making. I am truly sorry for all of our friends in the path of this storm. Let's hope we get some last-minute weakening a la Dennis or something else before Katrina hits the coast; otherwise, this COULD be an Andrew-type storm in terms of damage and longer-term impact.
