Just reported on the weather channel. Some awesome mezo vortexes also.

just at the end of the segment he said 184 mph at flight level, which one is it? Does anyone know?

Don't you love TWC, always lying? The 184 mph is at flight level. Considerably lower on the surface.

Yeah sorry they recanted. Weather channel said 184 mph and that was an increase in speed. Then right as they were going off they said oh btw the 184 was at flight lvl. Sorry about that

what were they prior at flight level if they are 184 mph? Sine the pressure continues to fall, I'm assuming they were lower. Looks like the winds will more than likely be bumped up to 180 mph on the next advisory. As we've seen, the winds will catch up to the pressure falls.

CNN is the worst for mistakes though. I'm not talking about the NHC spokespeople, but the CNN reporters. They have no education when it comes to hurricanes and say the most stupidest things untrue things you can imagine!! They need to get an eduction in canes if they are going to report accurate facts on them.

breaking news from live video feed on hurricaine is that the hurricane hunting aircraft have took readings of an eyewall pressure now down to 901mb with sustained windspeeds of 196mph now thats a big breeze

Oh and she came back and said it again and I quote. "184 mph winds and 902 "mullibars." Then they came back from the break and said they had just gotten new information in that it was at flight lvl and not ocean level. BTW, check out this sat shot.
