The system is now an Invest, but I really can't see much development because there is a trough (with wind shear) to its left, which should help shear it.
HOWEVER, right now I'm mostly focused on a catastrophic hurricane and very serious once in a lifetime situation in the Gulf of Mexico, so these are my only comments on this poor system...

I understand and sympathize with all of those in the path of Katrina right now. However, please bear in mind that there are plenty of people on this board who like to look at weather, and the things that are potentially developing out there who are NOT in the path. Please prepare what you need to prepare, stay safe, and let us discuss what we can on this board. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in Katrina's path.

As much as I feel for you guys in the GOM right now (and I do, that $*#@ storm was here, albeit as a "baby" hurricane), there are people who do care about future threats, so don't yell at one person if he or she posts one thread out of 60 that isn't about the N.O. storm.
Having said that, best of luck to those having to deal with this monster. Watching this makes me sick.....I hope it drops down to a 3 before hitting landfall.
But I can't help watching the invests...this is the height of the season and those of us not under immediate threat of Katrina need to watch and plan for the future.

I'm with you T-Bonz; this thread's title is about Invest 91L so anyone who is not interested in it, for obvious reasons; need not waste their time reading it.
While my heart and prayers go out to those threatened by Katrina; storm nuts are entitled to watch the other systems and pending systems.
