Jefferson Parish 911 has been evacuated. Jefferson parish residents who have not evacuated can no longer call 911 until further notice. I got this off the WWL-TV website/streaming video.

According to WEAR 3 out of Pensacola, FDOT is now closing the I-10 bridge over Escambia Bay to further traffic and rerouting everyone to, I assume, US 90.

Does ANYONE have ANY INFORMATION on the state of St. Tammany Parish in Louisiana, more specifically north Slidell and Pearl River! Family friends rode out the storm in Pearl River. No major preparations made to protect the house, as the eye was expected to go west of New Orleans, not east! It passed over St. Tammany real bad. ANY INFORMATION please!
