i wonder if reality is setting in yet. the radar tells no lie...they have a while to ride it out, as they chose to do so.

A few minutes ago, I saw one of the reporters interviewing a woman who lives on a 28 ft. shrimp boat. She, her 3 year old daughter, and her boyfriend are riding it out on that boat in Houmas, LA (sp?).
I personally believe that the police should go take her child away from her and arrest her for child neglect or abuse or something. I am just BOILING over this!!!
What gives???

What do you want her to do? That's likely the only property she owns. No house, no car.

Man, that sounds nuts. I guess they didn't see that 2 people drowned in a Marina in S. Fla. riding out a CAT 1 on their boats!! Sigh......

What do you want her to do? That's likely the only property she owns. No house, no car.
Maybe she could have at least taken the boat to a safer location, like Texas or something.
