Winds Gusting to 85mph in New Orleans at 4:00AM

Winds have increased dramatically in the past hour in New Orleans. At 3:53am EDT, the winds at New Orleans Lakefront Airport were NE @ 54mph sustained, with gusts to 85mph. This last report is now an hour old. Conditions are definitely MUCH worse by now. God Bless those in the path of this dangerous hurricane

grand isle, LA (c-man station) had a 103 mph gust last hour. pressure -24.9mb/3h.

station located 75 miles northwest of the eye
