Biloxi ?

With the storm seeming to stay slightly to the east of N.O. what does this mean for Biloxi? I have family in Biloxi, and am just concerned with what they can expect.

my sister called me this morning and told me "highest gust in pascagoula...118mph.

Pascagoula is prob. about 50 miles east of Biloxi.

NOT OFFICIAL...I dunno where she got the info.

Looks like my grandparents got a huge mess in the yard again.

Haley Barbour just said in an interview that he expects flooding all the way up to I-10 for the entire MS coast.

According to the Sun Herald blog http://eyesonkatrina.blogspot.com there is 9 ft of water in Waveland and the Hancock County Civil Defense anemometer has failed. Apparently some homes that don't usually flood in BSL have water up to their doorknobs.


I am sitting in northeast/central MS watching the bands on radar and realizing that the eye will likely center over BSL/Diamondhead/Pass Christian. I had a feeling that this would happen yesterday. Up here we're stocked up and have tied everything down for whatever she dumps here.
