Baton rouge and NOLA report
I am in BR and can report that we have gotten 40 to 50 mph wind with gust to 60 lots of trees down and lights widespred out. In NOLA reports are some leeves breached the st. benard parish completely under water up to 12ft. people stuck in attics and on roofs. one report of a building coplapse with people in it. Still waiting for more reports

storm almost completely done here in BR lots of trees down some through houses almost all houese have lights out i am running on a battery backup so i can only update sometimes. NOLA and areas around it appear to be hit pretty hard. I am going up in a chopper tommorrow to do damage assessment for NOLA and the areas aroud it will keep yall all updated

Not much more to report from here in Baton Rouge other than a few trees down and power outages. My power was just restored an hour ago after being off all day.
Drove around a bit and didnt see much in the way of major damage.......trees, limbs, house shingles, etc. No major damage in the city as far as I know. No flooding concerns.....actually, we didnt get as much rain here as forecasted. Winds earlier today were 35-50 mph with higher gusts.
We were pretty lucky.
