Cool. Thanks for letting us know, Bre!

Reached lsu2001's voice mail. Doesn't mean much, but at least he has cell service.

Was able to leave a message on LAwxgal's voice mail also.

Have not reached Sunny (although she's been online early today, but said she didn't have a cell signal), MSCoast, MS GulfCoast, TimNms, and baygirl_1.

I need to look up the area codes for the other areas hit because some people who sent in their contact information did not include where they live and their screen names don't help. But it's only a handful.

So, as far as our emergency contact list goes, those are the only ones we can try to reach.

IF ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE HAS NUMBERS FOR OTHER MEMBERS AND YOU CAN TRY TO REACH THEM, PLEASE LET US KNOW. We are all very concerned.

Thanks.

No. Getting a couple of rings and then back to the recording.

Honestly, I think it will be a matter of patience and prayer while waiting on the cellular companies to get things back in gear so that they will have signals.

Baygirl_1 -- safe and heading home (Mobile) probably tomorrow. Sustained chimney loss and hole in roof.

lsu2001 - just checked in here.

George just called back and said he spoke to Linda before the second landfall. She reported that conditions were getting worse. No calls since then. He's also concerned about MSCoast (Kami) who is a nurse and was probably unable to evacuate.

Glad to here people are safe and checking in. I'm worried most about Mscoast and Lindaloo -- from the pics I see of the Mississippi coast, I don't know if they have much to go back to.

I didn't talk to bluefrog myself but Dr. Wiggins whom I work for had a meeting with her this morning about some condos he owns. So she is fine. Still working on trying to get MScoast and Ixolib.

sorry didn't check out 1st  I packed computer a day early and didn't log on before hand.
I survived, but sure looks like HELL around me.I live in the woods 8 miles outside of woodville going west& 10 miles back off 190.firecheif said we had some gusts of 145 MPH was he for real???I can believe it.the floor was shakeing and the wind howling.we lost 5 whole trees pieces off most the others trees that were behind us& in front of us in woods have disapperaed to the ground.powerlines are twisted with trees poles snapped transformers exploded.I'm on generator now for the next 6-8 weeks.i may not even have power back at THANKSGIVEING.I'll say i'm one of the lucky ones in my area, not much damage, but I was prepared.Idiots around me didn't even board up or save water...i'll say 73 milk jugs was not enough, but least it was till FEMA arrived& they did take 6 days to get a generator for well back here

someone PM me what my winds were& if was possible that a tornado came in area?though never repotrted on tv/radio.I'm 8 miles W of woodville airport on 190 then 10 miles back in woods.I DO know was still a strong CAT 1 from reports on 105.1
