Relatives missing

#1 Postby Anonymous » Mon Aug 29, 2005 7:36 pm

Of my family in NO, I have made contact with two of them. Many others missing from: Slidel, Mandeville, Gretna and Harvey. Others (cousins) missing from the Southeast side.

In other news, the local fire departments here in FL are sending teams to NO. I am going to volunteer to go.

I have heard that most of Slidell is destroyed. Hopefully they got out in time. My gf's cousin lives there and went to Texas 2 days ago. Thank god they left. I hope everyone in your family is ok.

Sharpenu,

My thoughts and prayers are with them. Hopefully, you'll soon be in contact with them and all of them will be all right.

Hi Sharpenu -

Sorry I can't help with local info to find your family, but I very much hope that you are reunited with all of them very soon.

Hugs and hope,
SB

The very outer fringes... I'm on the GA border. Main threat has been tornadoes... numerous warnings either but it's calm right now. Wind has picked up a bit, but nothing too bad, certainly not like other areas are experiencing.
