Dont even start. Many of us are done with the 2005 hurricane season.
On the flipside I know this is the time the hurricane season really starts.
What a season.

I thoughy the season got boring over the past few weeks and then look at what just happened. I've done with this season, I honestly hope we don't have any more storms. Then I remember that we're still in August and might have to go through all this once again and I get sick to my stomach...
What a year...

Its a chilling thought PT to know the season has just begun. We are the lucky ones along the Gulf Coast so far this season. It has been a day of deep thought for me.

UGGHHH!! Right after a cat 5 in the GOM new systems are possible-
I am not letting my guard down. This stuff is very concerning. Thank you
OP for this info. I will remain vigilant into this wknd.
Nobody wants more storms, but we are just entering the most active
part of the season...thus storms are to be expected. ANY UPDATES are
helpful sources of info to this end.

Is there such a thing as a "Groundhog YEAR?!" This reminds me of last August and September here in central Florida. You spent EVERY day for two+ months either cleaning up from the last or preparing for the next Hurricane! And that's NO exaggeration! I have a receipt from Home Depot for almost every day of two months last year.
