This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

She may not have anything left to come home to. And she has some friends and neighbors who did not evacuate and are feared dead. We are trying not to mention anything in front of my 10-year old little cousin who lives with my grandparents. She is just a child and that would be too upsetting to her. My aunt and her friend are also here from New Orleans and are worried about their homes as well.

Oh, Cajungal, all these new stories just break my heart. I am praying that you get good news soon, and bless you much for being such a caring Grandaughter and Cousin!

Hugs and hope,

Cajungal my heart breaks hearing this. Let her know all will be well. She has you and a little angel. You also have many friends including me who feel for you and your family. Be strong and know we care deeply. Take care and God Bless.

David Diaz looks at the area where he and his brother used to live in the Sadler Apartments on the waterfront in Biloxi, Mississippi, August 29, 2005. The pile of rubble and empty foundations is what is left of 30 or more apartments and more than 100 of the St. Charles Condominiums after Hurricane Katrina ripped into the U.S. Gulf Coast on Monday. Just trying to figure out what "south of Second Street" means. Thanks.

Second Street runs from Pass Christian down to Gulfport.. It's basically about 100 yards from the beach.. Lots of expensive homes in the area..

I'm fully expecting not to have anything left once I get back to what was Pass Christian..

Thanks, I found it. I'll be praying for you!

Ditto.
