Shannon,
GC is one of my daughter's favorite bands right now. I think I've heard this song too. Of course their Anthum song is played tons on top 40 stations.
I like their music too. Great lyrics......chilling really.
Sidenote......
This topic reminded me of an article I read about Robert Stack's passing.....RS had once asked Clark Gable for advice on acting, or rather Clark Gable just offered it early on. Here's the link and excerpt, sure could apply today (if only younger actors would heed it):
http://www.cnn.com/2003/SHOWBIZ/TV/05/15/obit.stack.ap/
>>>He recalled playing polo with mentor Spencer Tracy and receiving advice from Clark Gable.
"He brought a bottle of 21-year-old Scotch and put it between us," Stack told the AP. " 'There's a rumor going around that you're gonna try to be an actor.'
"I thought I'd give it a shot," Stack said he replied.
"Clark said, 'You're gonna be one thing: A pro. Show up on time, know your lines. ... And if you ever become a thing called a celebrity -- a word I hate -- if you ever do, and you use that power to push people around, I'm gonna kick you right in the (expletive).' " <<<

J - wasn't that? My mom was all in love with Gable and would just swoon over him. I liked him too, but in an "okay, I can somewhat see what you like in him" way. LOL Never knew he felt this way though. Very good advice he gave Robert Stack there. In fact if you read the entire article, someone is quoted as saying no one ever said a harsh word about RS. Or something like that. The generation that RS, CG, Henry Fonda, Jimmy Stewart, Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, came out of will likely never be repeated again. I liked them all, b/c my mom did. Some gone now, sadly. More actors are in that elite group, just can't think of them all right now.......

j >> ahhhhh...Jimmy Stewart...It's A Wondeful Life. I love all his movies. Its too bad there aren't more of his type in Hollywood today to set a standard.<<
Amen to that j. We do have a few today....Tom Hanks comes to mind. Ron Howard's another, but he's in the directing end of it. Spielberg maybe. Mel Gibson maybe? They are out there, you just have to think hard at first.
