late week development?
I know we're all focused on the aftermath of Katrina, but I just wanted to point out that at least the Miami NWS is saying low pressure may form off the FL/SE US coast in a week or so. Then of course, there are the strong eastern/cnetral Atlantic waves ... though it looks like we've got fish out there for now given the steering current setup.

i actually giggled out loud at that. the first time i've laughed all day.
But, wxboy, knock that off. if we're REALLY quiet, it might go away....

Yeah, though hopefully it is only a ULC like the one that gave us a heatwave here in FL., instead of our next storm.
