NOGAPS was showing this also and the EURO 0Z RUN was trying to develope a System as well.. Right now what they show was weak.. but they are hinting at something around the Bahamas developing. Lets see if this trend keeps up.

To be honest- I doubt highly that it would take the same path as
Katrina- Look at all of the troughage coming off the east coast

it is too early to tell, but given the trouphage this thing will likely curve
east of the gulf coast. Whether that occurs in the E. GOM or out in the oceans will have to be seen.

i thought the same thing but we might get the old miss the trough and a high build in, where have we seen that before
