Please think folks ...
There are sick people out there who get their jollies making up horrible stories and posting them as fact, frequently as first or second person accounts. God knows why ayone would do something like that, but people do.
The post last night allegedly from Gulfport appears false on its face, since it claims the National Guard are there arresting everyone on the street (not to mention tens of bodies hanging in trees), when we have seen numerous reports in the media from Gulfport, including from our own Mark Sudduth and Mike Watkins which say nothing of this.
The post the other day about Pascagoula also appears to have been false, as there have been several reports since from that town, none of which mentioned a shelter collapsing.
So please folks, let's think two, three even four times before repeating stuff seen on some random board, however real it may appear. There are lots of folks around who are desperately seeking real information and who are in considerable emotional pain right now. It's just wrong to compound their pain just for the sake of maybe scooping the board with some sensational piece of news.
