I AM BACK!!!

#1 Postby CYCLONE MIKE » Wed Aug 31, 2005 8:41 pm

Just want to let everyone know, especially fellow SE LA posters that I made it through. Storm missed me by about 90 miles to the east. Biggest problem was no power. Just got that back this afternoon. Saw first pictures and videos from New Orleans and surrounding areas and all I can say is DAMN. There are so many places I want to check on I don't know where to start. Has anyone else from around SE LA checked in? How did they fare? They are not talking much about Grand Isle, Venice, Leeville, Delacroix, Hopedale. Anyone have any info. Is there a thread "sticky" that as more people become available to check in, can post how they are doing , etc?

Mike there is, if it isn't on this thread already, then it is on Talkin' Tropics.

Most people have been accounted for, thankfully, but there's a noticeable hole for those listed from Biloxi, which I fear may have been one of the worst hit areas.

Actually, the sticky is here in the HRA forum also. (We've been remodeling) :)
