Oreo "Lawsuit" Withdrawn!

#1 Postby streetsoldier » Wed May 14, 2003 9:39 pm

The attorney who filed his brief about banning Oreos in CA has withdrawn the suit; all he wanted to do, he says, was heighten public awareness about the amount of "trans-fat" in our food products. :grrr:

I imagine Oreo sales recently went up, not down. Silly really. Did he honestly think people would stop eating them? Pretty funny.

Working in the judicial system myself IMO it is the attorneys who actually pursue these type cases and the ones who actually accept these stupid cases. When those attorneys should focus more on the civil cases that are legit and the defense of innocent people.

I'm glad he dropped it. Now I don't have to worry about child abuse charges being filed against me and my wife for giving our kids Oreos.
