just a thought, but maybe this has nothing to do with satan or jesus and everything to do with patterns that are compeletly natural and non-religious in nature.

people who look for religious symbolism in katrina are no different than the people who buy tabloid newspapers showing the face of satan in duststorms, or the people who have a religious experience after looking at the piece of grilled cheese that supposedly has the virgin mary imprinted upon it.

Pentagram has nothing to do with satan. Pentagram patterns are found inside apples as well. Pentagrams are also sheriff's badges.

Two serious wx questions:

Does every major 'cane have mesovortices? Has a consensus been reached yet on whether annular hurricanes are as rare as was once thought, or are we just noticing them more with the help of technology?
