Agreed 100%

I'm talking about the response of the government, corporations, and the urgency that is put on getting crap done. People who believe race isn't a factor are ignorant to the ways of the world.

Hold on to your seats folks. The race card is getting morphed into economics at the Natl Press Club with the Congressional Black Caucus, complete with bible quotes about the feds feeding the hungry and the insinuation that the feds should've done more earlier. Ayn Rand's essay "Representation Without Authorization" keeps popping up in my head; going to Google a copy now. This positioning is hinting, at this early point in time, that the admin dragged their heels because the victims were poor/black. Mark my words.

People, if you do not react to this litmus test, it will go away. If you do react to it in an emotionally charged manner, it will dominate our media stories for a long while. Hopefully, everyone here realizes this is what they do. Send out test balloons to see what Americans will react to in their (the group who's testing the waters) favor.

Please ignore this political positioning that always rides the misfortune of others and focus instead on the Americans who are still in harm's way.

You think the man or woman hanging from a cable on a helicopter care what color the people are they are pulling off the roofs? Anyone that plays the race card in this disaster ought to be shot themselves. Introducing racism into this mess is enough to make a sane person puke.

Thats just B.S. ... I have seen plenty of Whits and Hispanics in the area waiting to be rescued... I hate this... Everytine something happens we hear the same things.... Maybe they need to look at the Mayor who happens to be black and ask him why he left those folks stranded!! I think that shhould be the questions being asked...

I must be imagining all of those old white women sitting in wheelchairs and even one being carried through the water by a large black man.

The older white man I saw looking on as a horde of looters poured ratlike out of a store must have been a special effect added by the news channel (?).

Aside, from the multitude of criminal scumbags, the other folks in there are "just all getting along". Too bad so many out here refuse to do the same - and are stirring the racial teapot for personal and political gain.
