Can anyone confirm hostage report??

Just heard a blurb on CNN a fire house is surround and under fire by gangs and one deputy shot. Has anyone else heard the same?

I heard the same report . and the fox channel said that the snipers had hit a couple of officials and were hoping that the guard would move in soon.

yes I heard that on Fox and also a report on the scanners that they are deperate for buses at the Superdome. Apparently there are another 3,000 that have turned up that need taking elsewhere.
