CNN - Firefighters and families being sniped at

#1 Postby Talon402 » Fri Sep 02, 2005 4:51 pm

Wolf Blitzer on CNN just reported that there are reports of Firefighters and their families, holed up in a building in St. Bernard Parish with armed gangs sniping at the building, preventing them from leaving.

Also a report of a deputy sheriff killed, but not confirmed.

Edit: I don't have a link yet. He said it quickly, and moved on. Hopefully there will be some other confirmation.

Edit 2: FOX NEWS just reported the same thing. He said police are "trying to dislodge the snipers"

Sorry, but this just begs: "Why aren't the responders and people with food, water and bags of ice running in from all over? This is an outrage!"

This is why. A good number of those in amongst the true victims just might perforate their bodies with gunfire or knife blades.
