I'm not aware of anyplace other than the pro site where JB's video is legitimately linked. Even Yahoo was apparently linking it without permission, and has now ceased.

FYI - if you sign up for pro, you get 30 free days. When you drop their service, they quite billing, but they never cut off your access. At least that has been my experience.

Why does almost everyone on this site seem to have a standard disclaimer about Joe Bastardi to start out with?? If you don't believe in his forecast stop talking about him. I happen to think he is one of the better if not the best forecasters that I pay for. He is not a slave to the models and a talking head reading off of someone elses forecast. He makes the forecast interesting because he has corny humor and a good personality. I gladly send in my money every month.

I like Joe too, I don't understand why people aways put down his forecast they say he don't know what he is talking about but they read and watch him anyway. If they don't like him don't watch. But he is a very smart man and he knows his business.

I went to Accuweather and he predicts maybe something in the western gulf to keep our eye on. I sure hope he is wrong.

Because they are galled at the thought os a "pay site" to get forecasts, as am I.

However, I don't trash him due to my disregard for having to pay if I want his wisdom.

IMO, there are Mets here on S2K who are as good and probably better than he is.

The one video I saw of him using the Yahoo link (which I guess is gone) he was singing and I found it obnoxious.
Other recollection was when he was on our local radio station here last year and said Jeanne was headed for Savannah when it was CLEAR that she was not turning.

Having said the above, I will never pay for his service and have only a limited exposure to his work, which was not impressive to me.

If y'all find it helpful and insightful, more power to you and continue to shell out the bucks.
