Kayne West just on live TV said "They gave permission to shoot us" and "President Bush does not care about blacks!!"

What a bunch of crap. I cannot believe what I heard

I read in the other thread started about this that he's a rapper. No wonder I didn't know. With the exception of "Rapper's Delight" and "Parents Just Don't Understand" hehe, I don't like rap music.

Who cares what he says/thinks? I know I don't.

i don't know who to quote on this one...they're all good.

that's a "rapper" for ya! i remember when rap first started as i was in middle school at the time. and you know what?....it used to mean something!

oh well. he's just trying to incite (sp?) a concert audience to know who he is because i sure as heck don't....nor do i really care except for the fact that he might trigger some future...well i won't go there...

Yeah when I heard this I did a double take and had to walk downstairs to ask my parents if he just said what I thought I heard. This is completely uncalled for and very insensitive. I was about ready to turn off the TV. While it might not be a great impact, I would encourage anyone who might want to support him or his CDs to spend the money for the victims instead. Mr. West exploited the opportunity to make a powerful statement to the nation on live TV. Shameful to say the least.

This shouldn't be a racial issue...and it has nothing to do with which party you are affiliated with. This is our fellow American citizens...Waiting to be rescued, thousands of them..many of which are in plain sight...standing outside the convention center...and on the overpass on I10...waiting for someone to come and get them out of the city...which they were told to evacuate 2 days ago.
