Alright, Miss Mary - that's IT! I'm comin' to Cleveland!!!

I had just below a half tank, yesterday - I filled up - $31.00...
it was $2.78/gal for the 87 octane (cheapest) - that was yesterday...
I didn't even look when I came through town, today - I was in a
"long-day stupor", and, forgot to check the price!

We're around 3.09 here, with 2 stations charging 3.19. At least, in my section of Florence. Not sure about other areas.

Monday morning all gas was $2.45. Tuesday morning it was $2.99 in town and $2.79 down the road. Wednesday it was $3.19 in town. I don't want to go see it today, 74 cents is enough!

There is mass panic because stations are running out of gas, some are limiting the amount you can buy, I've never seen stuff like this before...

Brent, I even heard one report today on local radio that briefly late Wednesday afternoon, one idiotic gas station manager in north Atlanta was selling premium gasoline at $9.99 a gallon  The highest price I saw here in Douglasville was $4.19 for premium at a Marathon conveinence store. Today I paid $3.39 per gallon at a local Shell station.

I hope and pray Georgia governor Sonny Perdue is telling us the truth...and things will get better soon. As I was returning home from dinner this evening, I only saw 3 service stations that weren't out of gasoline here....and a dozen or more which either were closed or had their pumps covered by yellow bags (out of gas).

:shocked!:

That is beyond insane.

We crossed into Georgia today over to LaGrange and saw $3.09 at one place there.

It's $2.89 here at Wal-Mart...

Gas is falling here. Peaked on Saturday @ 3.19, now down to 2.89 at most stations. I expect several fluctuations over the coming weeks.
