Agreed. Katrina has definately made a disaster mess... however, I was thinking not only of Katrina, but of the ups and downs of activity so far in the 2005 Atlantic Hurricane Season. This season has been a mess in many ways - the ups and downs of shear, an active early start, Katrina, the SAL, ULLs, lots of tropical storms, etc., etc., etc.!

Only one of the current group seems to be of consequence---Invest 94L. The others seem to be no threat to land. 94L will probably be a depression over Florida, and may become a TS in the Gulf, if it ever organizes sufficiently to get into the Gulf.
