Kuwait: Pledges 500 million dollars

The Canadian Red Cross estimates that so far Canadians have donated over $1 million to date to help survivors of Hurricane Katrina.

Not quite $500 million, but woohoo!

Uhhh.... Kuwait was never an enemy of the United States. That's the country we liberated from Iraq. Seems like as little payback is in order. Very generous on their part and graciously received I'm sure.
